Residents at Cambrian Lodge enjoyed a warm and sociable Time for a Cuppa Tea Party, with family and friends joining them for a relaxed afternoon of tea, cake and conversation.

The home was beautifully set up for the occasion, with bunting around the room, tables laid with cups and saucers, and plenty of tempting cakes on offer. The photographs show a delicious selection of treats, including éclairs, jam and cream buns and iced slices, as well as tiered cake stands and tables filled with refreshments ready to be enjoyed.

It was especially lovely to welcome residents’ families and friends, whose kind donations helped make the afternoon possible. Images from the event show relatives gathered around tables with residents, sharing tea and cake together, while other residents are seen chatting comfortably in armchairs and enjoying one another’s company. One cheerful group photo captures staff posing with smiles as the tea party continues in the background.

Events like this are a meaningful way to bring people together, supporting connection, conversation and a sense of community within the home. Sharing simple pleasures such as tea and cake can help create a relaxed atmosphere where residents, loved ones and staff can spend quality time together.

Cambrian Lodge would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families and friends who donated and helped make the afternoon such an enjoyable one.
