South West Care Homes chose The Cinnamon Trust as our Charity of the Year because their work quietly changes lives, for both people and their much-loved pets. They support older and terminally ill owners by arranging practical help such as dog walking, feeding, transport to the vet, and foster care when it’s needed most. It’s a simple idea with a huge heart: keeping pets and owners together for as long as possible, reducing loneliness and bringing daily comfort, companionship and purpose.

Put simply: it’s a modern tool that helps us keep activities truly person led, with plenty of smiles along the way.
We work with CareMeds to support safe, reliable medicines management across South West Care Homes. Their pharmacy services and compliance systems help ensure the right medication reaches the right person, at the right time, with clear records and robust checks in place. CareMeds also provides knowledgeable, responsive support to our teams, helping us stay aligned with best practice and regulatory expectations. South West Care Homes uses CoolCare to help coordinate the day to day running of our homes, supporting everything from care planning and finance to staffing and reporting.
