This week, South West Care Homes held a fantastic and productive staff meeting, bringing colleagues together to reflect on the organisation’s shared values and celebrate two outstanding team members.

The meeting was made even more special by the presence of Managing Director Richard White, who actively took part in the company values exercise alongside staff. Photos show colleagues seated in small groups around tables, working through exercise sheets, sharing ideas and discussing what matters most in their day-to-day roles. Richard is also pictured joining in with the activity, highlighting the importance of open engagement and a shared commitment across the organisation.

As part of the meeting, two well-deserved Star Awards were presented to Linju Jose and Billie-Jo Kendall. Both were recognised for their hard work, dedication and ongoing support for residents, and for embodying the values of South West Care Homes in their everyday work. Images from the event show Richard White presenting each of them with their framed awards.

Taking time to come together in this way is an important part of building a strong and supportive culture. Reflecting on values helps teams stay connected to the purpose behind their work, while recognising individual achievements shows appreciation for the people who make such a positive difference every day.

A big thank you goes to all staff for their continued passion and commitment across South West Care Homes.
