Residents at The Firs welcomed a touch of spring indoors today as they began work on a cheerful seasonal display by making paper daffodils together.
The activity involved cutting and sticking paper and card, with residents enjoying the chance to get creative and see the flowers gradually take shape. There was plenty of satisfaction in watching the display come together, with each daffodil adding a splash of colour and a lovely spring feel.
Once finished, the handmade daffodils were proudly placed in the dining room windows, where they now brighten the space for everyone to enjoy. Activities like this are a wonderful way to encourage creativity, support dexterity and bring a shared sense of achievement.
It was a lovely way to spend the day and a perfect reminder that spring is on its way.
Well done to everyone involved in creating such a bright and uplifting display for The Firs.
