About the role:
Ideal for an experienced carer, or someone looking for a rewarding new opportunity in care?
We are looking for compassionate, reliable Night Carers to join our dedicated team at The Firs in Tiverton. As a Night Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, supported and comfortable throughout the night, providing both practical care and reassurance.
Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal care, responding to night-time needs, maintaining a calm and secure environment, and supporting residents’ dignity and wellbeing at all times. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and clear communication between night and day teams.
This role offers permanent full-time and part-time opportunities, with ongoing training and development available for those who wish to progress their career in care.
What you’ll need:
We pride ourselves on recruiting caring, honest individuals who share our core values. You will naturally strive to deliver the highest standard of care and be genuinely passionate about supporting the well-being, dignity and independence of our residents.
You’ll be compassionate, reliable, patient and able to work calmly through the night, with good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
You will benefit from prior care experience, but it is not essential; the right person will receive full training and support.
We are not offering sponsorship or student visas at this time.
