Residents at Cambrian Lodge have been enjoying the many benefits of our Our Echo system, using it in a variety of ways across the week, both individually and together as a social group.
From reading the weekly activities magazine to colouring themed printouts, there’s been something for everyone to get involved with at their own pace. Residents have also enjoyed cracking the secret code challenges, taking part in weekly quizzes, and exploring a range of sensory and memory games designed to stimulate conversation, concentration and recall.
What’s especially lovely is how flexible the activities are. Some residents prefer quiet, independent time with a puzzle or colouring sheet, while others enjoy coming together for a shared quiz, swapping answers, encouraging one another, and having a laugh along the way. That mix of calm focus and group interaction helps keep days varied and meaningful, while supporting wellbeing and connection.
Our Echo is one of the ways we help ensure activities remain engaging and person led, giving residents choice, variety and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the moment, learn something new, or simply have fun.
