Residents at Lake View have been getting creative as they began work on a beautiful new summer-themed display.
Using lolly sticks, residents made their own colourful beach huts, carefully painting and decorating each one ready to become part of the display. It was a lovely opportunity to get crafty and bring a little taste of the seaside indoors.
The activity also sparked plenty of conversation and reminiscence. Residents chatted about what they associate with summertime and shared memories of holidays from years gone by, before writing some of their thoughts onto luggage tags to add to the home’s memory tree.
With colourful beach huts and lots of happy memories already taking shape, it was a wonderful start to Lake View’s new summer display.
