There is a real sense of Easter in the air at Michaelstowe, as residents have been busy preparing for the celebrations with a range of bright and creative seasonal activities.
The home has been filled with springtime colour as residents worked on beautiful flower baskets, decorative eggs and some wonderfully fabulous Easter bonnets. One photo shows residents gathered around a table decorating bonnets together, enjoying the chance to be creative and share ideas. Another captures a resident proudly holding up her decorated egg, covered in different coloured sequins, while a further image shows a resident smiling with her finished Easter bonnet. The finished flower baskets, filled with blooms and Easter decorations, add a lovely seasonal touch to the home.
Activities like this offer much more than decoration. They encourage creativity, concentration and conversation, while giving residents the opportunity to enjoy a shared sense of purpose as Easter approaches. Seasonal crafts can also bring back happy memories and help create a warm, cheerful atmosphere throughout the home.
At Michaelstowe, these preparations have brought plenty of smiles and a lovely sense of springtime cheer. The residents’ finished creations look wonderful and are a reflection of the care, imagination and enjoyment that have gone into making Easter feel special.
