Residents and staff at The Firs enjoyed a lovely Easter morning together, filled with creativity, chocolate treats and cheerful company.
The celebrations included a range of hands-on activities, giving residents the chance to decorate eggs, arrange flowers and add the finishing touches to their Easter bonnets. The photos capture some wonderful moments from the morning, including residents and children sitting together to colour eggs with felt-tip pens, a resident carefully arranging white and yellow flowers, and others proudly wearing their Easter bonnets while flower arranging around the table.
The chocolate treats were also a welcome part of the celebration, handed out by some very helpful little helpers with baskets of Easter eggs. One photo shows a resident in white bunny ears enjoying a white chocolate Easter egg, while another captures a child in a decorated Easter bonnet chatting with a resident, adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere.
Activities like these are a lovely way to bring people together, encouraging conversation, creativity and shared enjoyment. The mix of craft, flowers and seasonal treats gave residents the opportunity to take part in meaningful activities while enjoying the company of staff, visitors and children.
Everyone at The Firs came together to make the morning feel special, and it was a delightful way to celebrate Easter. Happy Easter from Harriet and The Firs Team.
