Residents at Ashley House recently enjoyed a lovely morning out exploring the beautiful surroundings of Langport.

Accompanied by Betty, Lisa enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the river, taking in the sights and sounds of the local area and making the most of the fresh air. After their walk, they stopped at a local café for a well-deserved cuppa and a chance to relax.

Getting out and about in the community offers so many wonderful benefits for residents. The sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors provide valuable sensory stimulation, while fresh air and gentle exercise can help lift spirits and support overall wellbeing.

Spending time in familiar community settings also encourages social interaction, provides a welcome change of scenery and can help reduce feelings of anxiety or restlessness.

A simple stroll, beautiful scenery and a lovely cup of tea – sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference!
