With another heatwave bringing plenty of sunshine, the team at Ashley House have been finding fun ways to help residents stay cool and entertained.
A firm favourite was a game of Hook a Duck, with residents having lots of fun seeing how many ducks they could successfully hook. There was plenty of concentration, friendly competition and laughter as everyone joined in.
As well as being great fun, the activity encouraged residents to use their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while providing cognitive stimulation and plenty of opportunities to socialise with one another.
A simple but thoroughly enjoyable way to keep everyone smiling through the hot weather!
