Residents at Ashley House enjoyed a lively afternoon of fun and games, with a selection of activities designed to encourage gentle movement while bringing plenty of smiles and laughter.
The games involved throwing, catching and rolling, helping residents practise their hand-eye coordination while keeping their upper bodies moving. These simple but enjoyable activities can help support muscle strength, flexibility and cognitive function, all while having fun together.
A particular favourite was Catch a Duck, which brought out everyone’s competitive side! The familiar game also sparked some lovely childhood memories, encouraging residents to reminisce about games they enjoyed when they were younger.
