There was a very special birthday celebration at Ashfield recently as the team helped make Dave’s birthday wish come true. 💕
Dave’s wish was simple – to head out for a lovely meal with a friend. After considering a few different destinations, he chose Kings Garden Centre and invited his friend Maureen along for the celebrations, with Driving Miss Daisy making sure they arrived in style!
After plenty of deliberation over the menu, Dave opted for a full English breakfast while Maureen enjoyed a Homity pie with salad. Once the plates were cleared and there had been a little time to make room, it was onto pudding! Dave eventually settled on bread and butter pudding with pistachio ice cream, while Maureen chose a fresh fruit salad.
With full tummies, the pair enjoyed a gentle stroll around the shop and a little birthday shopping. Dave even treated himself and a friend to a fly-catching plant as a reminder of his special day.
It was a truly lovely day filled with friendship, good food and happy memories – and, most importantly, just the birthday celebration Dave had wished for.
