Residents at The Manor enjoyed a wonderful trip down memory lane with an afternoon spent listening to vinyl records from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
The record player and fantastic collection of records were generously donated by resident Bill and his family, giving everyone plenty of music to explore and enjoy. Residents loved looking through the collection, spotting familiar artists and recognising favourite songs from years gone by.
It wasn’t long before toes were tapping, residents were singing along and even getting up for a dance! The familiar music sparked plenty of happy memories and conversation, making it a particularly special afternoon of reminiscence.
A huge thank you to Bill and his family for such a thoughtful donation. We’re sure the record player and collection will bring many more musical afternoons to The Manor!
