Residents, staff, family and friends from Lavender Court headed to Haldon Forest Park in Exeter to complete the final mile of the South West Care Homes 100-mile charity walk!
It was a wonderful way to mark the end of an incredible journey, with residents and team members from across South West Care Homes coming together to cross the finish line and celebrate everything they had achieved. Whether walking, cheering, donating or supporting along the way, everyone played a part in reaching that all-important 100-mile milestone.
A special thank you goes to Lavender Court Maintenance Man Tony and his wife Tracey, who generously loaned their minibus and gave their time to make the trip to Exeter possible. Their kindness and community spirit helped make the day one to remember.
And, of course, no road trip would be complete without a well-earned McDonald’s on the way home! 🍟
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who supported the challenge. Many happy memories have been made along the way – and now it’s time to look forward to the next adventure!
