Residents at Ashfield enjoyed a lovely morning spending time together, gathering to watch Our Echo: “A vibrant celebration of Spring”. The film sparked plenty of gentle conversation, from the signs of spring appearing around us to thoughts of baby animals and the changing season.

It also set the tone for what’s next at Ashfield, as everyone shared how much they’re looking forward to getting back out into the garden, preparing it to enjoy again and keeping an eye out for new life in the flower beds and bug houses.

Alongside the group activity, we also enjoyed some meaningful one-to-one time. Jean spent time sharing her treasured photo album, while Brenda chatted about the March winds, including memories of the palms in our garden and her own garden at home. For Christine, a devoted cat lover, there was a particularly sweet moment with our interactive cat, ‘Ginger’, bringing a smile and a comforting sense of companionship.

The photos capture these gentle highlights, from watching squirrels together to sharing stories, memories, and quiet connection. It was a warm reminder of how valuable simple shared experiences can be.
