Lavender Court is inviting the local community to join them for an upcoming Coffee Morning in aid of Dementia Week, offering a warm and welcoming space for connection, conversation and support.
As highlighted in the event poster, the morning will be about much more than enjoying a good cup of tea or coffee — although there will certainly be plenty of that, along with cake too. The event has been planned as a relaxed opportunity for people to come together, have a chat and feel part of a supportive community.
For those living with dementia, or supporting a loved one who is, day-to-day life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Events like this can make a real difference by creating a safe and informal setting where people can meet others who understand, share experiences and learn more about the support and resources available locally.
Whether visitors pop in briefly or stay for the whole morning, they can expect a friendly face and a warm welcome. The coffee morning is open to everyone, and Lavender Court hopes it will be a chance for people to take a little time for themselves, connect with others and feel reassured that they are not alone.
This upcoming event reflects Lavender Court’s commitment not only to residents’ wellbeing, but also to supporting families, friends and the wider community through compassion, understanding and meaningful engagement.
