There were some rather unusual visitors at Ashfield recently as residents welcomed two very special slithery guests – Boots the Royal Python and Noodles the Corn Snake! 🐍
The lovely Dawn brought the two snakes along for an exciting afternoon, giving residents the opportunity to meet them up close and learn a little more about these fascinating creatures.
While a few residents were understandably a little unsure at first, it didn’t take long for everyone to discover just how gentle and calm Boots and Noodles were. Many residents were brave enough to hold the snakes themselves, enjoying the unusual experience of feeling their surprisingly smooth scales.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter and wonderful reactions throughout the afternoon. In fact, Dave enjoyed the experience so much that he’s now decided he’d quite like a snake of his own in his room!
A huge thank you to Dawn for bringing Boots and Noodles to visit. It was a fantastic opportunity to try something different, overcome a few nerves and make some lovely memories together. Everyone at Ashfield hopes to welcome their new slithery friends back again soon!
